YOUR ROLE
- Developing the global marketing innovation strategy to manage the growth and profitability of your category on a global scope.
- Leading marketing innovation projects, driving progress among interdisciplinary teams from the idea to launch to make sure that products are developed, tested and launched successfully.
- Analyzing market, competitor and consumer data to identify new opportunities to drive the innovation pipeline into new segments, benefit spaces and formats and respond on changing consumer needs and market trends.
- Conduction of market research in close cooperation with market research team.
- While based in Düsseldorf, this role offers the opportunity working with different markets and regions globally, providing the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of different consumer trends and markets.
- Working in close cooperation with leadership team to achieve key project milestones and shape the market with breakthrough innovations.
- Managing budget and resources and ensure timely local execution of initiatives.
YOUR SKILLS
- Master Degree in Marketing, Economics, International Management or other relevant field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in local/regional and preferably also international product innovation, in a FMCG company
- Firm knowledge of MS Office applications
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills to challenge the status quo and finding solutions to translate them into innovative strategies
- Strong business understanding, analytical skills and financial understanding
- Team-player who can motivate colleagues to achieve set goals together
- Fluent English language skills
